More description
Disposable underpads are absorbent, single-use pads designed to protect surfaces from moisture, bodily fluids, and contaminants. They are versatile and essential in medical, caregiving, and personal hygiene contexts.
FAQ:
Q1: How many layers does your underpad have? What is the function of each layer?
A: Our standard underpads feature a 5-layer construction for maximum protection:
| Layer | Material | Function |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Top Sheet | Soft Non-woven Fabric | Quick liquid penetration, skin-friendly & dry-touch |
| 2. Acquisition Layer | Air-laid Paper / Non-woven | Rapidly distributes liquid evenly across the pad |
| 3. Core Absorbent | Fluff Pulp + SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) | Locks in liquid and turns it into gel, preventing backflow |
| 4. Barrier Layer | Tissue / Non-woven | Protects the SAP core from leaking |
| 5. Back Sheet | PE Film (Blue/Green/White) | 100% waterproof, anti-slip, protects mattress/furniture |
Q2: What is the absorption capacity?
A: We offer multiple absorbency levels to suit different needs:
Standard:300–500 ml/pad (general light incontinence care).
High Absorbency:800–1200 ml/pad (overnight or heavy incontinence).
Super Absorbency:1500+ ml/pad (hospital surgery / postpartum use). We use medical-grade SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) to ensure rapid gelling and zero leakage.
Q3: Does the top sheet stay dry after absorption?
A: Yes. Our non-woven top sheet is designed for one-way liquid penetration. Once the liquid passes through, the SAP core locks it into a gel, so the surface remains dry and comfortable, preventing skin irritation and bedsores.
